I’m just going to jump right in!

I recently had an awesome session with this adorable brand-new dark haired baby girl

This session was special because I had a new prop I have wanted to try out. And, it goes without saying, I was really excited to have such a sweet girl to try the prop out with and I really loved how my gray cable knit blanket looked rolled up inside of the wire basket.

This beautiful newborn girl was radiating cuteness before, but when I laid her on the wire basket that I purchased from JD Vintage Props (who have fabulous customer service, by the way) really added to the photo.

I really love the simplicity of this particular prop, its very gender neutral and it looks amazing with the flokati rug under it. I think next time I am going to try it with a different blanket fill and see if I like it as much as the gray cable knit.

But enough about the props the true star was this perfect baby girl. She is such a beauty and slept really well through her session. I enjoyed meeting her and her parents and grandmother. They were all so helpful and supportive through the session and it really allowed me to work efficiently through all the poses and I was extremely happy with the outcome of her gallery as were her parents!!! it is such a joy to hear the excitement from my clients when they see their images for the first time!!!!
