Today I’d like you to meet this gorgeous 8 days new baby girl. This little princess has only been on Earth for a short period, but she is such a naturally beautiful baby. I absolutely had to take advantage of those good looks during this session.

Seriously — her creamy skin tone, smooth complexion and natural glow make her a serious contender for pretty much any “cute baby contest” in the country!

Because I wanted to highlight how adorable this baby is, I chose to keep props and background noise to a minimum. I love natural neutral colors and so does mom, so it worked out well for all of us 🙂

She is such a sweet baby girl and had the most adoring older brother. You may have remembered meeting mom, when I did her maternity session. I really love when I have had the opportunity to do mom’s maternity session and then follow-up with the newborn session…its nice when we have already spent some time together to build that connection. It helps us all to ease into the newborn session and this was no exception. This baby girl was so sweet and so content I was able to work through my poses with only a few short breaks for feedings.
