Capturing the beauty of a newborn baby is a privilege that I experience often as a photographer. I love being a part of welcoming a new bundle of joy into the family. The studio provides a background of subtle muted pastels that allows the family’s happiness to shine as the center of the photographs. The colorful crochet blanket brings a homey feminine feel to the session and adds a homemade personal touch.
Recently, I had the pleasure of welcoming this new little girl into a growing family. We first met this adorable family for their maternity session. I always love welcoming back families for their newborn session…it is so sweet to see them again with their new baby.
The individual pictures with mom and dad radiated their joy, and the subtleness of their white shirts allowed the pinkness of the newborn girl’s skin to glow. The beautiful baby girl’s pink lips were serene as she curled into a furry blanket, giving the illusion of her floating peacefully on a cloud. Her lips curled into a delicate smile as she felt the love surrounding her.
The priceless picture of her little toes so delicately woven in a blanket will be treasured in the future as she grows into a young woman. The flowers on the headband brought a delicate femininity to her perfect facial features. The sisterly love wss felt as the beautiful big sister gazed lovingly on the new bundle.
Sometimes as life passes by, it is hard to slow down and appreciate the little things. The soft smile and beautiful squishy skin of the newborn in these photographs will provide a timeless reminder of the miracle of life and the beauty of a newborn child.
