As a Washington DC newborn photographer, I have the privilege of meeting such wonderful families. Today my photo session included a family of three who were welcoming a newborn boy into their home. It was fun to watch this young couple snuggle their little men and to watch the interactions between the new big brother and his young sibling.
The family was dressed in shades of blue and gray, which looked stunning against their olive skin. The parents’ faces were glowing with excitement as they carried their sons in their arms. I loved the picture of the older son curled up on a blanket with his new brother. I could just picture the adventures and fun that they will experience together.
The baby boy looked stunning wrapped in a gray blanket. He sported a beautiful full head of black hair and very kissable cheeks. He had a rosy glow and cute little pink lips curled into a soft smile. I loved the photographs that featured the toes wrapped in a soft blanket. It will be fun to remember how little these toes were as he grows. The newborn babe looked so safe and secure as he was wrapped in a cream blanket with a brown hat. His hands were all curled up next to his chin.
I love to experiment with black and white along with color. I took a shot of the baby boy being held in his dad’s hands. This photograph looked like the baby was being held in the shape of a heart. It will become a treasured photo for many years to come. I hope that they continue to visit their Washington DC newborn photographer often as the family achieves new milestones.
