One of the things I love most about my job is gorgeous maternity shoot! I can’t wait to meet their sweet newborn baby girl once she is born. I was thrilled that this beautiful couple chose me to be their maternity & newborn photographer. Mom and Dad are expecting a baby girl, so we started in my studio with some feminine studio photographs before heading to the beach. There are few places that provide the perfect lighting and backdrop for photography like the beach at Sunset. Not only does it give a romantic feel, but it also sets the scene with the variation in color. The blues of the water pop but don’t draw attention from the focus of the photographs. I wanted to capture the love between Mom and Dad with the beautiful beach backdrop,and they made it so easy and natural. Because they are expecting a baby girl, Dad is dressed in a pale pink dress shirt, which is casual but classy and works so well with the warm colors of the sandy beach. Mom chose three gorgeous dresses for this shoot. The flowing dresses moved perfectly with the slight breeze, and the lace dress hugged her blossoming belly, allowing me the opportunity to really focus on baby in several pictures. With the obvious love between this Mom and Dad and the beautiful backdrop of the beach, I know we have captured a moment that they will never forget!
