Sometimes it amazes me how many beautiful babies there are in this world. I love that as a newborn photographer, I have the opportunity to meet so many of them. This session was no exception. I met with two wonderful parents and their beautiful new daughter.
This little girl was such a joy to photograph. She was nice and sleepy, which gave me the time I needed to find those amazing portraits. She loved laying on her belly with her hands folded up under her chin. She had beautiful kissable cheeks and nice plump arms and legs. I was able to capture a beautiful shot of mom kissing those adorable cheeks. I was also able to capture a magnificent close up of her face with her adorable nose and beautiful pink lips. She looked so serene. It was nice to see how loving dad looked as he gazed down at his little girl.
We moved on to some pictures with different accents. I loved adding the headbands because they gave the baby girl different looks with a touch of femininity. The little flowers brought out the beautiful pink tones in her lips and cheeks. But my favorite part of this photo shoot was the picture of her wearing the University of Michigan hat. Maize and blue are such great colors! We also dressed her in a beautiful crocheted blanket tied in a bow and laid her on a white fuzzy blanket. She looked like she was floating on a cloud, so peaceful.
I had so much fun working with this family and creating an amazing collection of memories. As a mom myself, I know how fast these moments fly by. These photographs will create a lasting memory of this time as she grows into a young woman.
