For this newborn session, I welcome a new family into my studio with their beautiful daughter. This little lady arrived for her photo session fed and content and ready to pose. And we were able to create some magical pictures today.
I started today by focusing on some close ups of this little lady’s beautiful face. She had such beautiful delicate, but plump features. I loved her precious eyelashes, cute little button nose, pink lips, and those cheeks! What fun kissable cheeks! Her skin had an amazing glow and beautiful coloring. She sported a gorgeous head of dark brown hair with these adorable waves in it.
Her parents had their own beautiful glow as they looked down on their new addition. I love being able to photograph the sheer love and joy, and probably a little bit of tiredness, in the faces of new parents. Dad wrapped his arms lovingly around his family while sporting a huge smile, and I loved how he gazed down nose to nose with his beautiful daughter. Both parents wore dark blue shirts, which provided a stunning contrast to the gray blanket wrapped around the baby and her beautiful skin tone.
During the photo shoot, I experimented with different textures and colors, including a wooden box with a fuzzy pink blanket in the background. The baby was wrapped in a cute light pink hooded blanket and looked so peaceful and serene. The background really brought out the color in her lips. In contrast, the lacy silk blanket added a touch of elegance to her features, especially with the addition of a matching headband with a flower.
I had a wonderful time getting to meet and know this young family. The love in their eyes is such a beautiful thing to see. I can’t wait to make more memories with them in the future. I hope you enjoy some of my favorite pictures from this session.
