With my years of experience in photographing so many beautiful newborn babies, I have noticed that each one of them has that special feature that makes them unique. The first thing my eyes were drawn to with this little lady was her beautiful head of hair. I loved the way that in some angles her hair would lay flat, and in different poses, it would looked all spiked up. Such a variety.
This little beauty arrived for her newborn session along with her mom, dad, and older sister. She was able to maintain her sleepy state and allowed me to obtain some fabulous pictures. I love being able to capture the natural photos of the newborn curled up in a ball. Perfect natural setting to obtain some much loved keepsakes and memories.
One of my favorite poses was when the baby was sleeping on her side with her hands tucked in under her cheeks. Although she was off in dreamland, her cute little pink lips curled up into a soft grin. I was able to bring out the ivory tones in her skin with soft neutral background colors and blankets. The white lace and crocheted blankets added special touches of elegance and personal charm.
Being a Washington DC Newborn Photographer is filled with fun and beautiful babies. The newborn phase lasts such a short period of time, and it is so important to capture it while it is here.
