Hi; I’m Gena, a Washington DC Newborn Photographer who also specializes in babies, children, maternity and family photography.  I was born a Georgia Peach and currently call Washington DC “home” thanks to Uncle Sam.  I am a blessed mom of four beautiful children (including a set of twins), a 20-year military Veteran and an impassioned photographer.  I spent my military career working in both nutritional medicine and financial.  I still have a passion for nutrition and enjoy spending time in the kitchen preparing wholesome meals for my hubby and our non-stop-growing crew of four.  Finance still has some relevance too, as I do enjoy spending money :-).  Now that my service to our great nation is complete, I can focus on what I truly love…photography.  I have always been a creative person and view photography as the perfect outlet that allows me to be creatively-artistic and turn moments and events into cherished visual memories.  I aspire to transform the creative potential of photography into lasting memories that focuses on newborns, and young children .  In each and every session, my goal is to capture the natural connection between families and create beautiful natural newborn portraiture that you will embrace for a lifetime.  I sincerely look forward to meeting you!
