My Style – Newborn, Baby, Maternity Photographer

I specialize in newborn, baby, maternity photography around Phoenix Arizona metro areas as well as Chandler, Gilbert, Scottsdale, Mesa.  My style is custom and artistic fine art portraiture.  I strive to deliver unique images that are natural and inviting for families, children and newborns.

Speaking of newborns, they are my absolute favorite subject to photograph.  I love everything about brand new babies, especially the feelings of sheer excitement, joy and elation that build during the session and multiply when I sit down to process the images once the session is complete.  I vividly remember the awesome feeling of having my four little-ones photographed in their first few days and relish the opportunity to capture your newborn’s new-ness.  My goal with newborns is to create soft, beautiful, natural images of your newest addition.   I love to use neutrals and natural elements in my newborn photography.  My desire is to highlight the absolute perfection of your newborn and not distract from them.

I also enjoy family photography.  My goal with families is to capture the true essence of who your family is.  I like to start with traditional shots (looking and smiling at the camera) and then mix in more traditional poses throughout your session; but I also really love the non traditional shots….the ones I take when no one realizes the camera is on them.  I want to capture the true you, the connection between your family, between siblings, between parent and child, between mom and dad.  I want to tell your story in a way that visually bookmarks where your family is at this chapter of your life; to freeze time for just a moment so you will have these memories captured for a life time.

Ultimately, my photography will capture your belly, your baby and/or family in the uniqueness that is you/them!  I view each photograph as a work of art.  Your session will be custom-styled to your taste and comfort; and I hand-edit each and every image.  When I’m finished, I’ll select only the very best images from our session and create 20-25 custom portraits to include in your final gallery.
