My favorite sessions are with newborns, but, as a twin mom myself, I especially enjoy newborn twin sessions. We first met this family when I had the opportunity to take pictures of this lovely mother and father expecting fraternal twin girls, during their maternity session. Despite the fact that these baby girls arrived a bit earlier than expected, they did so well they were able to come to the studio at about 3 weeks old. The same love between the mother and father in their maternity portraits carried over into their newborn session. It is always so much fun for me to see my clients again after their baby’s arrive, as they are beginning their journey with a new baby (or two).
The pictures of the girls display an innocence like none other. Several of the images capture the connection that is felt between twins. They hold hands in some of the pictures as they are laying on a soft blanket in a basket. When it comes to how the parents feel about their girls, you can clearly see the adoration and special bond that they have by looking at the smiles on their faces and the way that they hold the babies in the pictures. These two were the so tiny and sweet as they are cuddled next to each other. I truly love capturing the twin bond as it was very evident with these two. We had a wonderful session and their portraits turned out beautifully!
