One of the things I love about what I do is being able to follow a family as they grow. I first met this sweet family during their maternity session. Now I was excited to be able to meet their new baby boy.
This session included not only the parents and big sister but also their grandmother. The parents wore beautiful soft blue shirts, which combined with the baby’s delicate green wrap, brought out the beauty of the mother’s and baby’s complexions. I loved how the sister was dressed in a shirt which matched the baby boy’s blanket. The picture of the two of them was one of my favorites as she looked so happy and proud to be a big sister. I especially liked how the white furry blanket in the background allowed the two of them to shine. Another precious moment was the photograph featuring the grandmother with her grandchildren. The big sister had such a beautiful natural smile and was having so much fun.
The new lovely baby was such a joy to photograph. I loved how background of browns and grays allowed his beautiful squishy parts to shine and provided a stunning contrast. His pink lips curled into a wistful smile as he slept, and the white blankets in the background made it look like he was floating on a cloud. His brown hair fell delicately on his head, and his plump little cheeks filled out his serene face. The picture of this beautiful boy wrapped so lovingly in the brown swaddle blanket brought him a feeling of peace and security.
Each photo session brings me a new joy, and I look forward to having the opportunity to work with the family again as new milestones arrive.
