Providing families with treasured keepsakes of their new little bundle is one of my favorite things about being a dc newborn photographer. This day, I helped a new family welcome their daughter into the family. She was a beautiful little angel with a feisty spirit. She made me work for every shot, but in the end, we were able to capture some amazing photographs. We started by taking a few family photos. The parents wore lovely shades of pink and blue, which brought such a glow to the baby’s beautiful ivory and pink skin. The love on their face was so evident as they gazed down on their daughter. I loved capturing that special father/daughter moment when dad was giving her a little kiss. All too soon, those little kisses will be leading her off into the future. I was able to get a close up of her beautiful sleeping face. I loved her cute button nose, pink lips, and kissable cheeks, the absolute sweetest newborn girl. She was all bundled in a beautiful white blanket while lying on a fuzzy one. What a beautiful gift. She looked like she was floating on a cloud. The family had brought in some cute little headbands that added a simple elegance to her features. We also captured some photos of her in a peach blanket with a matching crocheted bonnet. I loved the color against her skin. She looked so cute as she grabbed onto her foot. I could image those feet taking her places. I am so glad I was able to work with this wonderful family and create such beautiful treasured keepsakes for them. Their love for their new bundle was so evident. I hope to work with them again in their future as we create more beautiful memories.
