I truly enjoyed the time I spent with this family for their photo session.  I could see the family love that they have for each other in every pose.  I really enjoy capturing the connection between families.  Mom and Dad, as well as the brother and sister, have their own unique looks, but when they come together, there is an excitement and joy among the family. The location was requested by the mother, and even though there was a small fee for the Botanical Garden in Vienna, VA, (quickly becoming one of my favorite places to shoot) the setting was beautiful and allowed a way for the family to display their inner personalities.

One of the images of the family is of all four sitting on the ground with tall grass and flowers in the background. The selection of clothing in natural colors blends well with the background and allows you to focus on the faces and expressions of each person. The little girl with her pigtails has large eyes that exude innocence and excitement. As the family walks down a trail in the garden, the little girl holds her mother’s hand while the father holds the little boy’s hand. The smiles on the faces of everyone in the picture are large. One image of the little boy in front of the fence features his arms crossed and a look that displays mischief and happiness. A playful image features the children at a small table with a tea set. Both children have an inquisitive look while they are pretending to drink their tea. This family was wonderful to work with, and I hope to watch them grow in the future.
