I feel honored that so many families choose me for their newborn photography. I just love to capture those spectacular moments during their first days with their new baby. It gives me an opportunity to connect with so many great people here in the Washington DC metro area.
This family arrived with their new baby girl for a newborn photo session. It was fun to see big brother interact with his new little sister. I was able to capture a cute family picture featuring one of the biggest smiles on a big brother’s face that I think I have ever seen. The parents wore darker shirts while the little boy and new baby were in lighter colors. This combination gave a stunning contrast to the picture.
This precious little girl was so easy to photograph. I loved the color in her kissable cheeks and all of her squishy parts. At one point, we wrapped the baby in a white blanket and laid her on a white shaggy rug. She looked so precious, like she was floating on a cloud. We also dressed her in a silky lace blanket with a matching bonnet. It gave her an old fashioned classy look. I loved the accent of the pink blankets with the tones in her skin. The color just made her glow.
I was very excited to have the opportunity to meet and work with this family. They purchased the Baby Plan, so I get to look forward to seeing them again at 6 months and one year for additional photo sessions. It will give me the opportunity to watch her grow through the baby stages and into the toddler years. I will be sure to post more photos as this little lady gets older.
