I recently had the pleasure of working with a mom and dad who were patiently awaiting the arrival of their baby boy. The beautiful maternity portraits were taken on a lovely beach in Southern Maryland. This setting offered a beautiful backdrop along with the stunning neutral-colored dress the mother wore in some of the pictures. When the couple’s precious baby boy arrived, I was honored to do the newborn session. This has been a wonderful couple to work with from pregnancy to birth.
When you look at the pictures of the mother as she’s standing on the sand, you can see the excitement that she has for her baby boy. She gently holds her stomach in all of the pictures that were taken of her and of her and the father. A stunning image is of the mother standing in the water along the edge of the beach with the sun setting in the background. The natural setting combines well with the clothing she is wearing and her skin tone. Another image that displays the love that the couple has for each other and their baby boy is of the couple standing in front of tall grass and looking at the camera. The mother leans into the father, showing her trust and love in one image. There is a striking photo of the mother wearing a pink dress and standing in the midst of tall grass and plants with flowers that are almost the same shade as her dress. A loving image shows the father with his hand on the mother’s stomach as they gaze adoringly at each other.
