Newborn photo sessions can be so much fun. I allows me the pleasure of meeting such wonderful families and working with a multitude of new babies. Working with newborns can be both challenging and fun, but definitely more fun than challenging! This session included a new mom and dad, together with a beautiful newborn girl.
This adorable angel was ready for her photo debut. I chose to work with a variety of cream and white wraps in this photo shoot. The baby’s skin was so pink and glowing, and the neutral colors allowed her coloring to shine. The lace and sheer fabrics provided different dimensions to the photographs. I was able to capture the serene look on the baby’s face as she folded her hands under her chin. I took a close up of those cute little hands. They were so beautiful and petite with delicate nails.
I used a couple of different fluffy blankets in the background. The white one added a feeling of floating on a cloud, while the brown one provided more of a color contrast. In a few of the pictures, I added a variety cute little headbands, some with bows and others with flowers. Both styles added a touch of femininity to her features. I captured a few family shots with each parent and both together. It was so nice to see how the father wrapped his arm lovingly around both mom and the baby. I also added the the traditional nose to nose shot….so beautiful. I loved the picture of the mom kissing her beautiful plump cheek. So cute and squishy! She truly was the most beautiful newborn girl.
