The little girl was so adorable and cooperative. She slept during the photos with a serene wistful look on her face. Every now and again, she would strike a puzzled look, but then settle back in to her slumber. I started the session with the family photos. This little sweetie settled right in to her parent’s arms. I loved how Mom’s and Dad’s blue shirts provided such a stunning contrast to the baby’s glowing pink skin. Both parents took turns gazing lovingly down at their new bundle.
This little beauty looked so peaceful, and I was able to take a few pictures of her sleeping on her stomach. I loved how she curled her hands under her little chin. She had such plump, kissable cheeks. She allowed me the time to capture a couple of photos of her beautiful little fingers and toes. She also wore a couple of cute headbands, which looked stunning against her beautiful brown hair. They added a nice splash of color and brought a touch of femininity to her features. In a few pictures, she wore a beautiful crocheted bonnet and pant set, which added a little classy nostalgia. I loved posing her in a small wagon…classic and beautiful.
What a privilege to have the opportunity to work with such an amazing family. I hope they will return to their Washington D.C. Photographer for future pictures as their family grows. I hope you enjoy a few of my favorites.
