It is always a special treat for me when I get the opportunity to enjoy subsequent
photography sessions with families that include small children. To watch any child grow and to be able to capture their budding personalities, is a delightful benefit of my work. My pleasure was simply multiplied with these adorable one-year old triplets whom I had first photographed not long after their birth for their
newborn session.
The setting was perfect for our outdoor spring photo session, and it truly complimented this beautiful family. I loved working with the various textures and colors of nature for the backdrop. We had it all, from the wooden bridge and assorted granite structures, to a variety of foliage and the occasional pops of colorful flora.
The striking little sisters in their matching blue and white pinstripe sundresses and their handsome brother in his khaki slacks, white button-down shirt, and navy-blue blazer, created an easy natural palette to incorporate into the background. An equally attractive and photogenic mom and dad were impeccably dressed in navy to complete the family look. I especially enjoyed that red feathery headband popping out in the photos from the one sister, and I loved the way the little guy and his dad matched their attire.
The sense of adventure and innocence expressed in the children’s faces is the sweetest. A hint of mischief and wonder is evident in the little boy’s expressions; while one of the sisters is a bit more of the cautious type who carefully puts one foot in front of the other and walks behind her charismatic sister.
A family photo shoot is certainly a special time for families to enjoy each other and to make it all distinct for the camera. This photographer appreciates capturing the essence of the family, and these parents had a lot of fun creating special memories with their triplets.
