The miracle of a newborn baby never ceases to amaze me. Their skin, their smell, their tiny petite features; they are all so beautiful. Today was no exception. I welcomed two wonderful new parents into my studio today, along with their adorable baby girl. The parents were all smiles as they gazed down at their little lady. The was fun to watch the joy radiating on their faces.
This beauty arrived at the studio nice and sleepy, and ready to pose. One of my favorite features was her stunning rosy skin. I was able to really accent her coloring by using neutral color blankets consisting of beige and off white in the background. The combination looked amazing and allowed her skin to shine. I was able to compliment her beauty by adding touches of lace and gossamer. She slept so peacefully and securely in the wraps.
This newborn baby girl was blessed with a full head of wispy brown hair. We used a variety of cute flower and bow headbands, which brought a little touch of charm to her features. I was able to zoom in on her cute little fingers all curled up next to her pink lips. One of my favorite features are those beautiful little fingers, especially when they wrap them around your own fingers and hold on so tight.
During newborn photo sessions, I love to try to personalize each encounter for the family. It is so much fun to bring in a few props. We wrapped this little beauty in a blanket and added a cute little bonnet. We then placed her in a wooden crate surrounded by blankets. I love how it added a fun classy country feel to the photographs.
It was a great pleasure to work with this new family today. Being a newborn photographer has allowed me to do what I love while giving the me opportunity to connect with so many great people. I look forward to creating more treasured memories as this little lady grows.
