A handsome little man arrived in the studio today ready to make his photo debut. He was content and well fed, and sported the cutest little expressions. He was in such a nice sleepy state, which gave me plenty of time to find those great shots.
This little man had such a beautiful skin tone. He had this stunning rosy glow about him, and the neutral color palate of beige and white that I chose was a great compliment to his complexion. I love using the fluffy white blanket in the background to add some dimension and layers to the picture. It also gave the baby a serene look of peacefulness and that floating in the clouds feeling. I used the same fluffy blankets with a white wooden box. The combination was adorable. One of my favorite poses was the little baby boy all tucked in with a white background and white blanket. His face stood out like a ray of sunshine.
This little cutie had a full head of dark hair and pink lips. I was able to capture a beautiful picture of those little lips. He even managed an adorable lopsided grin. So precious! I could get lost is the beauty of all his little wrinkles and those chubby little features. And let’s not forget the feet. I bet this little man is going to grow to be tall.
It’s always a pleasure meeting such wonderful families and creating timeless memories. I am looking forward to them returning to their favorite DC newborn photographer for future sessions, hopefully including the 1 year old cake smash. Always a fun time.
