This little man looked so peaceful and cute during his session. He slept well and allowed me time to work my magic. His mother and father radiated such joy and excitement as they gazed down at him. You could really see the resemblance between him and his mom as they posed together. The parents’ choice of gray shirts really brought out the beautiful ivory color of his skin. I loved capturing the dad’s pride and joy as he gazed down into his son’s eyes.
I choose to use a few cute little hats for the session. It was so much fun to take different photos with the variety of wardrobe changes. One of the cutest hats (and my favorite) was the little brown one with the ears. Oh, what a cutie! We chose mostly darker colors, like blues and greens, to contrast the baby’s beautiful skin. He had plump cheeks and cute little fat rolls. He loved posing on his belly with his hands curled up below his chin, as if he didn’t have a care in the world. His sweet little toes wiggled as we posed for pictures, and he had such long, beautiful fingers.
I had so much fun during this newborn session, creating a custom work of art for the parents of their sweet little bundle of joy. I love using backgrounds and textures that are not dated and will stand the test of time. I can’t wait to watch as the family grows. As a mom, I know how fast time goes by and how these moments need to be treasured.
