We started the session by taking pictures of the big sister sleeping next to her new sibling. She wore an outfit that was a similar color to the baby’s blanket, which gave them uniformity while still maintaining their individuality. They looked so peaceful together, but I could still picture the mischief they could cause in the future.
My favorite part of this photography sessions had to be the cuteness and delicateness of the baby’s features. Her face had that perfect little nose and dainty little pink lips. She had a full head of brown hair with beautiful soft curls. I loved how the flowers in her headband accented her soft femininity. Her cheeks were so round and kissable, and her cute little feet were just ready to take her places.
The family chose beautiful soft colors for the backgrounds. The ivory blankets brought out her skin tone, and the pink blankets accented the rosiness in her features. The pink blanket spread out next to the baby with the brown blanket in the background reminded me of a delicate bird floating in a cloud.
The photographs from this session will provide such a fun set of memories for this young family. I can just see these photos featured in a display one day at a birthday or graduation party. I cannot wait to see this family again as these girls grow and reach new heights. I love connecting with so many wonderful people.
