In this session, I welcomed back a young family for their newborn photo shoot. I first met this couple when we completed their maternity session at the beach. What a great time. I was excited to welcome them back with their new little girl.
This precious little angel was nice and cooperative. She was on the sleepy side which allowed me plenty of time to capture those magical moments. I obtained some beautiful shots of the baby lying on her belly with her hands all curled up next to her face. She had such plump kissable cheeks. I added a variety of lace and crocheted blankets in order to capture an array of different pictures.
The parents looked so proud as they posed with their new baby. They were dressed in darker shirts which added a stunning contrast to the creamy skin of their daughter. One of my favorite features was the baby’s full head of beautiful dark hair. After looking at the picture of her with her dad, I think I know where she got all of that hair. We added headbands and a beautiful flower crown to accent her femininity. I also took some photos of this precious bundle all dressed in lace while lying in a basket. She looked so classy and elegant. She would grab her cute little feet. One day those feet will be taking her places.
I had such great time working with this family and creating lasting memories. I look forward to them returning to their D. C. newborn photographer for more sessions as this little one grows.
